Our front and rear clamping system is supplied pre-mounted. All you have to do is adjust the ski length at the back of the tension clip once. A special knife is included in the package, letting you cut the skin on the ski to ensure no rough edges and without moving it out of place. It’s easy to use, saves time, and lets you cut a customized Gecko skin to fit any ski.
We put a lot of effort into developing our new front system, and it’s been used successfully for years now. Once you get the hang of it, it works fantastically well with all ski tips.

It couldn’t be easier to use:
hold the bail with two fingers centred on the tip of the ski and pull downwards with a slight tug. Then mount the skin to the upper part of the ski with the silicone and you’re all ‘skinned up’. You’ll notice that the bail won’t move another millimetre. If it isn’t fixed in place by pulling on it lightly, it can rattle around while you are skiing, which isn’t ideal.
Further advantages of this bail:
- You can’t push it off accidentally during kick turns any more.
- When breaking trail in deep snow, snow won’t get in between the ski and the skin, since the skin reaches extremely far up to the tip of the ski thanks to the short bail.
