GECKO Premium Freeride 110/170

Our Gecko ski touring skin even comes with a ready-made cutting pattern at the tail, to make trimming it to size easier for you. The studs included in the delivery and the special knife enable precise trimming without damaging the ski.  The studs contained in the set can be connected to the clamping system with no effort at all and inserted into the pre-punched holes in the skin. They’re pressed together with a pipe wrench, and the final few millimetres can be fixed securely in place with a hammer. You can easily perform the trimming and mounting yourself by following the video on our website.

When shortening the Gecko skin, remember that the skin at the tail should always be around 10 cm shorter than the ski. 

The real highlight is our revolutionary Gecko front system! Designed to work on all ski tips, it’seasy to use and will stay firmly in place. Just place the bail on the tip of the ski with two fingers, pull it lightly downwards and attach the skin to the upper part of the ski. You’ll notice that the bail won’t move another millimetre. If it isn’t fixed in place by pulling on it lightly, it can rattle around while you are skiing, which isn’t ideal.

With our front system, you can be sure that the bail won’t be knocked off during kick turns. And, what’s more, the short bail keeps snow from getting in between the ski and the skin, which is a plus – especially in deep snow.
