The Mix Freeride skin comes with a pre-mounted front clamping system, while the rear clamping system is included in the drawstring bag.

We’ve thought of everything to make life easier for you. The cutting pattern for a potential gauge has already been applied to the tail of the skin. The studs included in the set can easily be connected to the clamping system and inserted in the skin’s pre-punched holes. They’re pressed together with a pipe wrench, and the final few millimetres can be fixed securely in place with a hammer. Trimming and mounting becomes child’s play if you watch the video on our website.       

When shortening the Gecko skin, remember that the skin at the tail should always be around 10 cm shorter than the ski. 

A special knife included in the package lets you trim the skin precisely without leaving any rough edges or damaging the ski. It’s easy to use and saves time!

Our Gecko front system is the product of years of experience and innovation. It was developed to make it as easy as possible for you to attach the skin to your skis. One look under the bail will show you the special recess that perfectly fits the taper on skis.

It couldn’t be easier to use: hold the bail with two fingers centred on the tip of the ski and pull lightly downwards to fix the skin in place. Thanks to the silicone, everything stays in place and you can concentrate on actually mounting the skin. No more annoying rattling – only smooth touring!

The advantages of this bail are obvious: it doesn’t come off during kick turns, and snow doesn’t get in between the ski and the skin, even in deep powder.
